Because we live in a material world, a world that
prioritizes possessions, it can be very easy for you and I
to place high value on the things of this world. One of the
benefits of belisvership in Jesus Christ is the reward of
heaven with God. Salvation is not attained by what we say
but also by how we live. With every action aligned with the
Almighty, position ourselves for the peaceful paradise God
promise us when we transition from here. We do good to
take account for how we do what we do here on Earth. .
This week, make time to think about what recent down
payments have you put on your eternal prize. Make up
your mind to put deeper stock into how you exist while
living here on Earth. Take seriously the idea that the things
that are MOST important are the heavenly things of God.
You may never receive an award for your efforts in
righteousness here but be reminded that God has a
heavenly reward for you that you will get to see one day in
heaven. Focus on being Christlike…it is always what
matters most. Love you to life. Have a blessed week
