Celebrate Black History Month with us as we honor the rich culture, legacy, and achievements of the African and African-American community. Each Sunday in February, join us for a unique theme highlighting the beauty and pride of our heritage.
1st Sunday: Church Crowns and Sunday Best
Theme: Celebrate the legacy of African-American church fashion.
Show up in your elegant Sunday best, with dresses, suits, and iconic church crowns, honoring the tradition of wearing your finest to worship.
2nd Sunday: Traditional African Attire
Theme: Embrace ancestral roots by wearing traditional African garments.
Wear vibrant Kente cloth, dashikis, kaftans, gele headwraps, and other cultural attire that reflect the traditions of the African continent.
3rd Sunday: HBCU and Divine Nine Representation
Theme: Honor Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Black Greek-letter organizations (Divine Nine).
Wear HBCU logos or colors, fraternity and sorority paraphernalia, or clothing that proudly represents these institutions that have shaped Black excellence.
4th Sunday: Modern Black Excellence
Theme: Showcase contemporary achievements and cultural pride.
Celebrate the modern era by wearing attire from Black-owned fashion brands, empowering message tees, or clothing that highlights today’s African-American culture.
