The Community Engagement Ministry serves as a bridge between Union Grove and the wider community. Guided by our church’s core value of Empowering Community, this ministry increases the visibility of our church through outreach events, resource connections, and meaningful partnerships. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to live their best lives by making healthy spiritual, emotional, and physical decisions while extending the love of Christ beyond the church walls.
We create opportunities for people to encounter God and our church through community resource tables, health fairs, youth professional development days, and annual celebrations such as Juneteenth. Community Engagement also provides support directly to our church family with resources for housing, food, utilities, education, and more. Every interaction—whether at a community fair, a school partnership, or a church-hosted event—is an opportunity to plant seeds of hope and connection.
Through these efforts, we have witnessed lives transformed. One powerful testimony came during a resource fair where a young woman encountered our ministry. After being invited to visit Union Grove, she rededicated her life to Christ, and her entire family has since become active members of our church. To God Be the Glory!
