Grace and Glory: Recognizing the Divine Spirit in Women

“God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day” -Psalm 46:5
In this present day, the realities of sexism are all around us. We regularly see women
discriminated against, disregarded, disrespected & diminished because of their gender. With all
of this in tow, women continue to succeed and exceed expectations. This is not only because of
their perseverance & brilliance, but also because of the Spirit of God that resides within our
sisters holding and helping women along the way. We do good to realize that no matter the
texture of her hair, shape of her body, education or background, the Holy Spirit resides in her
and she is worth reverencing.
This week (and all month long), make time to consider the God that is at work in all the women
you encounter. Make up your mind to honor God for the role that women play (and continue to
play) in your life. Our lives are better because of the things women do to improvement them.
She is more than what the world tends to recognize and worthy of high recognition. Thank God
for our women and purpose to see the Spirit of God in them all. Love you to life. Have a blessed
