May our Lord Jesus Christ himself…encourage your
hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and
word” – 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
There is something powerful about presence.
Presence can not only represent attendance but also
affection. When someone sees to us, stands with us,
visits with us or shares space with us, it is an
indicator and extension of care; a sacrifice of one’s
seat to share space with us. This reflection
represents the depth in which Jesus loves us. Jesus
doesn’t just decide to be distant from us but instead
to be close as possible to us; to be present with us.
The safest place will always be in Jesus’ presence.
Our prayers should always be for Jesus, himself, to
dwell with us no matter what we may be dealing
with.
This week, make time to think about the areas in
your life where you don’t feel close or connected to
Jesus Christ. Make up your mind to not only ask
Jesus to bless but to request that Jesus be present
with you. To be in Jesus’ presence give us strength,
security, joy, power & peace. We can do no good
without Jesus and Jesus desires to be desired by His
people. May we constantly be seeking to be in Jesus’
presence. Have a blessed week. Love you to life!
Peace,
